Our point of view
A little bit of Puerto Rico belongs everywhere.
islaisla is a love letter to the visual language of home: neighborhood streets, old balconies, corner-store runs, music, family, and the unmistakable Boricua point of view.
We started because the Puerto Rican shirts we found were either souvenir-shop prints or nothing at all. So we built one graphic system around the bandera — heavy stripes, sharp triangle, one star — and printed it the way an independent label would: garment-dyed bodies, soft-hand inks, small runs.
Not souvenir-shop Puerto Rico. Real-life Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rican pride shouldn't need a palm tree. Our Puerto Rican apparel is designed to sit next to the rest of your wardrobe and still say exactly where you're from.
Start with Puerto Rican shirts or say hola.
